Stockman’s 8” Shank
This weighted cheek allows for more control and added poll pressure while maintaining clean lateral movement. The cheek pieces are polished steel with decorative silver arrows. The sweet iron keeps a horse’s mouth moist, allowing the bit to move freely. The long shank provides added leverage and control. Cheek 8”, Mouthpiece 5 ¼”
Chain - PCB-110 - This mouthpiece is actually a very mild and useful training tool. The chain conforms to the shape of the horse’s mouth, applying mild tongue and bar pressure. This mouthpiece works well on horses in any discipline.
Ported Chain - PCB-111 - This mouthpiece will provide the horse with some tongue relief and the chain is light on the bars. Effective in lifting shoulders, the chain allows for independent rein action while the port encourages collection.
Snaffle - PCB-112 -This mouthpiece will apply more pallet and bar pressure and is an excellent all-purpose mouthpiece which works well on most horses. Sweet iron keeps a horse’s mouth moist, allowing the bit to move freely.
Medium Port - PCB-113 - This bit features a solid mouthpiece that works off bar and pallet pressure. Good for working with older, more mature horses. The port measures 1” wide and 2” high.
Correctional - PCB-114 - The correction style mouthpiece with copper inlay has four moving parts. The jointed mouthpiece allows for clean lateral movement and flexion.
Low Port Chain - PCB-115 - This mouthpiece will provide the horse with some tongue relief and the chain is light on the bars. Effective in lifting the head and shoulders, the chain allows for independent rein action, while the lower port encourages collection.
